FRP/GRP/Thermoplastic Tanks & Vessels
Fibreglass reinforced plastic(FRP) tanks/vessels eliminate the drawbacks of other liquid storage methods. They’re durable, leak-free, highly cost-effective over their lifecycles, easy to install, reconfigure and relocate, and sanitary - making them ideal for a wide range of uses including drinking water storage, commercial mining, food and factory production, air conditioning MAUs, fire protection, industrial liquids, rainwater harvesting, seawater storage, and wastewater storage. The cylindrical FRP tanks can be designed and manufactured into various sizes and is only limited by logistics options. However due to the versatility of FRP tank manufacturing, we are able to provide field fabrication when the tank/equipment size renders transportation impossible.
FRP can be applied on a wide range of sizes and diameters for piping and tanks, for both new installations or existing metal equipment. For new installations, this can reduce the need for high cost alloys and application to existing piping/tanks will prolong their operational lifespan. Existing concrete tanks/chambers can also be lined with FRP lining as an additional layer of protection. The FRP lining is also not affected by structural cracks that usually occur on the concrete tank thus resulting in increased durability of the tank as the FRP lining assuredly protects the surface of the tank.
Thermoplastic-Lined FRP Tank & Piping
Thermoplastic-lined FRP tanks/piping have very good chemical resistance, are durable and cost effective. The thermoplastic linings in FRP tanks/piping are free from odour, taint, and toxicity.
FRP/Thermoplastics Pipes and Fittings
Fibreglass reinforced plastic(FRP) pipes and fittings are lightweight with high strength-to-weight ratio, and an extremely long lifespan. In addition to also having excellent corrosion and surge pressure resistance, it is also non-toxic, has excellent hydraulic efficiency due to low frictional head loss, and excellent thermal insulating properties without the need for cathodic protection.
